you know how people always declare their love for people using flashy rhymes and humongous words. like they use incredible verses that make you wonder how they even thought their lines up, whether they're gifted with their use of the language. and some can snap their fingers and the poetry just flows out just like that.

and yes this is pretty random cause its 930 at night and i dont know why this suddenly came out but it just did. and even though i pride myself as a writer of songs, i'm not that good with words really. not like someone like jin i suppose, my words just dont seem to dazzle people.

but im just gonna do it the way i know best, keeping it simple. and yes this is outrageously random, but it's just a gentle reminder to you.

so dan and kevin left yesterday and now i am very very much homesick. but it was very good to have them here. erm sunday we went for peking duck at night for ryan's birthday. there were 12 of us, me, dan, kevin, weian, ian, william, darryl, nic, adhi, siang, ryan and andy. and erm we ate 9 ducks and normally 3 people share one duck. so yar haha basically we ate alot! the boss who came to chop the ducks up in front of us told us we broke the record haha. and he was damn funny.
cos for the first duck they bring out just nice, 12 skins, 12 slices of cucumber and onion for everyone and then the boss will slice the duck and serve one by one. so he was chopping the duck up and we were preparing the skin and then adhi went to put two slices of cucumber on his skin. so then the boss told him "how can you do that! then there wont be enough! if you do that again i will chop off your fingers!" haha it was damn freaking funny.
and so after that we went back to the hotel at lygon for awhile to chit chat and all, where adhi delivered a classic display of insults to leave darryl a very sad and brokenhearted man after that haha.

after that we went to this bar cause it was dan and kevin's last night here anyway. met cel's sis there, but yar we just did the normal drinks and chilling out. oh yar and stupid truth or dare, i had to dance on top of a friggin table haha.

completed my 1500 word essay all on monday, and handed it up the very day itself haha. had lunch with dan, kevin and weian at la notte's before they headed off to the airport.

yup so that ends my very extended break from school, and now i'm back in burwood. going to toil my way through the last 4 weeks or so, and then i'm coming home to find you.

alright, so i've been away for the last 5 days. many apologies but ive bee pretty busy, and here's why.

dan and kevin came down for holiday on thursday morning so lately i've just been busy spending time with them. on our first day, we ate breakfast twice (!!!), shopped the whole of melbourne city, and went crown haha. on our second day, we went to richmond to eat vietnamese beef kuay teow, went down to chapel street to do more shopping, had cakes for tea at greco's, and then went down to limor's for a sumptuous dinner again, and then went to watch revenge of the sith at crown. it sounds not that much but that's just cause its just a brief summary, we actually did alot!

today, they went for vicmart around early afternoon, i joined them slightly later, we played soccer at princes park, then dan wanted to cook so we went to safeway for some groceries, and then dan cooked for us meaning me, weian, ian, kevin, kevin's friend, and himself. and it was lotsa food so it was pretty good! and then we went down for gelato, and then we came up to watch the fa cup final, which man utd undeservedly lost. siang, ian, weian and me wanted to kill ourselves. it was absolutely disappointing.

so yup i'm at ian's right now cause i needed to use the internet to find out my assignment topic, which is due on monday and i have just found out what it is. and it's worth 30%. and its 1500 words. i'm dead haha and dan's here till monday. i just hope i find the time to do it.

ok gonna take a bath and then i'm off to either -
1) start my assignment
2) sleep

just got off the phone with eric awhile ago. feels so super duper good talking to him, thanks for the call mr chang, much appreciated.
and ryanho also called earlier, although talking to ryan is much more banter than anything. but good too! called nigel a few days ago cause i have 20 min international calls so it was also very very good catching up with mr boey.

so on saturday, ian, weian, william, munhong and me went to limor's to eat. its this bar and grill place thats pretty far out at north caulfield, like a 15-20 min drive. but the food was amazing!!! the 5 of us shared one meat platter and one seafood platter. and the waiter had the cheek to ask us "are u sure u guys can finish?" we didnt leave a single piece of meat or seafood left on the platters, and it was really a feast! one of my best meals yet, i just absolutely love eating.

handed up my assignment today slightly after 5pm which was the deadline, hope i dont get penalised cause really, i was like 2 mins late. so yup two more assignments, both media&comm, and then it's just exams left, and i'll be finally home. 4 months away from home, and i'm almost done. cant wait really, cant wait.

alrite i'll try a post with normal size font and let's see how it looks.

its erm 6am now and im just taking a break from my assignment which is due later today at 5pm, and i just started like an hour ago? haha yeah but nah it's a pretty easy essay, i have to come up with a storyline which involves conflict between 2 characters, write one page of a scenario, and 5-10 pages of script action and voila, i'm done. so yeah should be done by 8am!

soccer match today was well, alrite i suppose, but i'm pretty disappointed with the way i carried myself on the field. my playing wasnt too bad, i still could do with a huge improvement on my work rate, and i definitely should release the ball earlier, and improve my running into space. but no it wasnt too bad at all. i nearly scored on two ocassions.
first one was erm in the first 30 seconds on the match haha. i never thought i would be able to score a first minute goal but i almost did today. they had just kicked off and passed the ball back, then their centre mid spread it out to their left, but i read it and beat him to the ball and then i just sprinted past their left-back and continued running. and then suddenly i was like shit! im through on goal. so i was abit erm surprised and i just looked down and sidefooted the ball and it hit the post! haha that was disappointing.
and then later on in the first half, siang had the ball he looked up and saw me creeping in at the back post, and he delivered the perfect cross but once again, gab's heading proved to be unreliable. i headed it a few inches wide, which was even more disappointing cause i hardly score headers, and that was like my best chance yet!
and then since we were rotating keepers, i let in an absolute blunder where i let a long shot slip under my hand. but thankfully weian had scored before that, and in the second half nic scored so we won 2-1.

but im just really disappointed with the way i carry myself on the pitch. i told myself if i scored today i would dedicate it to God and like look to the heavens, but i ended up being a real bastard during the match. there was this prat we all couldnt stand cause he was calling for every foul and he couldnt shut up, and there was some bad blood between him and our team in the past, when i wasnt around yet. so yeah we basically showed him, weian, darryl and i doing quite abit of pushing and bad tackles. and then in the second half, i picked up a looseball and he just shoved me. so i sat there and the floor and stared at him and he came up to me, faking apology and all and offered to pick me up. so i just stared at him, siang came to pick me up, the prat came up to me again, i turned around and spat at his feet. im really thankful my spit didnt hit his face or anything, and i must admit when i did that initially i was damn happy cause i like showed him up.

but like after the match, i dont know. i was really gutted at how i conducted myself. and i shaked hands with everyone but the prat. and he really is a prat. but that doesnt give me reason to spit at him i suppose. yeah so my temper is something i really got to work on. sant says im like alan smith, haha.

anyway, better get back to work. good game today guys, sorry for behaving like an idiot, i'll try to keep my head the next time. and yup gotta work on my heading : )

just like hwh, i've recently been hit by the virus which is known to humans as "shopping". in the past 2 weeks, i have bought 4 new tshirts, new pair of lacosteshoes, and yesterday i ordered a pair of pumas which i have been eyeing since last year, and it costs $300, and i have to fly them in from sydney so thats an additional $20 : ( haha. i also spent $80 on a new haircut, which takes my recent spending to an extreme high. but nevermind, money is meant to be spent. why keep it all in a bank for it all to go to waste when u pass on in life?

6 in the morning now. at ian's sleeping in the living room but obviously gab doesn't sleep at 6am. optimum sleeping hours are from 7am-5pm haha. went to watch claire's drama exam yesterday. you did fantastic dear so dont worry!!
and then i just chilled around, today (friday) was the same. meant nicole for awhile, then went off for lunch, shopping and back here. pretty boring stuff.

will probably spend tomorrow studying, soccer match on sunday, hope it goes well! ok ok i really should get some sleep. good morning world!

so its 430 in the morning now. i meant to sleep early today but russellkang was online just now, and he has a chem test tomorrow, 8 chapters and he knew nothing haha. thats even worse than me. so i probably spent a couple of hours teaching him stuff, so now im stuck here. my early night is gone but thats okay. anything for good ol' russ. and finally managed to catch up a lil with chuin so thats good too. chuin i knoe you read this so yar, just keep in mind the nonsense i said haha :)

so today was the longest day i've ever been in school. 12-7 haha. i met up with chris and georgie for our meeting, went off to class from 1-2, and then went to find them again. not too bad we managed to complete filming before 4plus i think, and then we spent the next few hours in the comp lab editing. i have NEVER been in uni for seven hours haha today's a record, and the irony is i only had one class haha.

not gonna sleep cause knowing me i wont be able to wake up. and my day starts extra early tomorrow. i have to be up by 730 tomorrow cause i got my own filming to do, which i'll probably do at 8, meeting with the deakin international officer at 930, hope i dont get scolding or attendance problems. professionalwriting tutorial at 10 and i have to present as well, and im not even prepared. shit i think i'll just go and come up with some shit on the spot. finishes at 12 and then im off straight away to the comp lab to edit my own filming, then meeting chris who's gonna help me with the editing, then we're gonna meet the rest of the group before tutorial starts for a final discussion/briefing. 3pm film and video tute we'll be in the studio filming our live show, thats probably until 5pm. and thats when my day hopefully ends.

fuck, school's damn draining, my life right now is basically damn draining. aargh. i woke up monday 1130am and school on tuesday ends at 5pm which means 30 hours without sleep. if i do decide to go to the city and catch manu-chelsea, it possibly means i might go even more hours without sleep. my record was 36 hours which was just set two weeks ago, haha i might actually beat it.

ok going to brave the 6.6 degree celsius weather to have a much deserved smoke after all those chemical equations. please pray for me that i might make it through today.

haha once again my time spent in the city has resulted in limited blogging time but okay i promise i'll try my best to keep everyone updated on a regular basis, rather than churn it all out on the weekend and expect you guys to read everything. but bear with me this time round once again.

well originally went to the city on wednesday cause they were playing soccer. soccer was damn bloody funny cause of the inside jokes really. twin towers=carlton noodle house waiter & calling card salesman. ian and darryl will know what im talking about haha. so then after that, dinner at coretto's with weian, ian, william, darryl, munhong and later nick came. so then we went back to ian's and did our normal nonsense, watched first half of psv-milan before falling asleep.
woke up late on thursday, skipped my only class, stupid lecture anyway. hung out more and more, playing winningeleven and stuff, and talking about ximshi. haha ximshi another inside joke thingy.

shopping over friday and saturday, lacoste shoes, two shirts from guess. i am very peeved that i fell in love with two pairs of shoes and they were both ladies shoes! and theres one pair of pumas which cost $300 which i was going to buy cause i liked it since last year but they only had last pair and it was a size 8. zzz.... and i couldnt find my ax jacket at the crown outlet which had 30% discount storewide so now i'll have to go to the one at melbournecentral, which i dont think has a discount :( but all in all shopping was good, makes u happy!

saturday night spent with nicole and claire. dinner, then went back for awhile, fetched nicole back and got biscuits and a few movies. the notebook sucked, we gave up half an hour into the show and watched the incredibles, which albeit being my third time watching it still was very nice. then watched a walk to remember with claire which is still one of the ultimate nice shows, although the book is still so much better. love the teo sisters :)

today had coffee with them and nina as well, for at least 2 hours. it was damn funny larh, just talking about everything and catching up. pretty nice.
dinner after that with ian, siang, ryan and their fren. went back to get some stuff and now im back home! so yup that concludes my 5 day weekend haha. looking forward to school tomorrow, and meeting my group mates for our final meeting before we have our actual filming on tuesday. hee wish us luck.

heyo i'm back! alrite sorry for becoming an increasingly lazy blogger. its not that i'm lazy but i dont knoe, sometimes i tell myself i'm gonna blog today and then i forget to and then its bedtime so i dont blog, and the whole cycle continues.

weekend was pretty good. friday was spent with nicole, we went shopping with adel and engsoon. after that i met the guys and we went chapel street to shop. i almost bought a pair of pumas but it looked too secondary school, and then i bought two tshirts. found an ax jacket i absolutely adore so im going to save up! then erm we went back and cause i hadnt slept for 36 hours due to unforeseen circumstances, i totally zonked out. so weian william nick darryl all went clubbing without me : ( haha.

saturday, let's see what did we do on saturday. yeah we just chilled if im not wrong, oh yes i cooked laksa for ian, nick, william and weian. ian followed me back to burwood to get the stuff, and then i went to find nicole and claire for dinner at brunettis. bought weian a cake cause it was his birthday on sunday, and did a pretty darn good job at hiding it. and then at 12am we surprised him!! which was pretty good cause gab is KING of surprises.
then we all went casino, where after UP and DOWN, i won $60. well at least i didnt lose! at first i thought i lost, but then when i got back home i emptied my pockets and i found one black chip=$100. so not too bad larh.

so yeah sunday was pretty not much happened.

today we had rehearsal for our studio filming which will take place next week. it was so funny cause we're doing some kinda magazine programme, like rove, okay which is the australian equivalent to say letterman or leno, but abit more humourous, less formal.
so there's 6 of us, and then sean and sharon are our talent, which means the people on the show, and georgie is our floor manager, and shes on the set too. and this are basically the people in my group i dont talk to. which is good cause then chris, ben and i are all in the studio room thingy, and cause i got along best with them, it was very enjoyable.
im the visual manager person, whenever chris, whos the director, says switch from camera1 to camera2 or something like that i have to switch. and cause both sharon and sean are talking so i have to switch quite often in accordance to their speech. it was quite unnerving, but in the end we did pretty well.

funny things that happened backstage.

-both chris and ben have headsets. both put them on and start fiddling with the volume. they realise they both cannot seem to be able to control their volume. ben's control is switched to damn loud, while chris' is damn soft. georgie says something through her own headset and chris suddenly jumps up cause his was bloody loud. chris starts untangling the wires and realises his they've gotten each other's headsets.

-lecturer walks by, hair shorter than mine, boobs and ear rings. i cant decide if its a man or a woman. lecturer walks onto set to give some instructions. ben, without realising he's still wearing his headset, turns over to chris and me and says "i could never tell if thats a guy or a girl!". reply comes from georgie on the other end saying "its a girl". ben replies "you can hear me???". georgie who is on set, along with camera crew, talent and said lecturer replies "we all can". ben forgot his headset had a microphone.

rahaha it was damn funny. and there were alot of other funny stuff, but you have to be there for it to be funny. cause we didnt have a script, so sean and sharon were just making up stuff along the way. and sean was so damn funny.
"i lifted up the couch, i found a twentycent coin and anthony callea! cause hes THAT small."
