collingwood 139-105 western bulldogs.heh heh from watching my first ever live game, to watching my second one 6 days later. friday night at the MCG, 7 rows from the front with nicole, while dan, sant, weian and kit were one section and a few rows away, it was awesome cheering the magpies on the another superb victory. especially against the bulldogs who are arguably the second best victorian team after us! but it was a great match and the doggies gave us a minor scare by taking the lead into the first quarter but we injured two of their players (oops heh heh heh) and from then on, our attack was just too strong for them. but kudos to the doggies for putting up a valiant show, one of the better teams in the league in terms of playing style and positive gameplan!!so this saturday night, its back at the G again for the match against in-form brisbane lions (shumin's team!). although brisbane have recorded the highest score for the last two weeks, i am pretty sure my beloved collingwood will get them back down to earth with a big trashing. a nice winning margin of 1509890432 points should be just nice. and hopefully we can get seats really near the front so we can scream at our most hated player, JASON AKERMANIS! the bloke with the platinum blond hair with a black goatee. what a weirdo! and neon yellow boots too! i say, SUSPEND HIM! on account of being a blatant poser!hee hee okay dinner was very impromptu at yamagata tonight, but nonetheless, terrific. ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET till they told us we werent allowed to eat anymore. now what kind of buffet is that! probably because we ordered 40 pieces of sashimi on the first order. dammit. im still hungry now. i shall wake up and go for eggs benedict with nicole tomorrow morning, bright and early.sigh. if only i could wake up. COLLINGWOOD 146-44 GEELONGmy first ever live afl match at the MCG and it was absolutely amazing. the crowd was brilliant and the rivalry was intense but friendly. and most of all, geelong were absolutely whipped by the mighty magpies!! today's post shall be a PHOTO blog!

i was so damn lucky to run into travis cloke!!
for those who dont know travis cloke, hes one of collingwood's hottest prospects. and you can see he's very much taller than me. and he's my age. go figure haha.
but it was so great we sat next to a middle age man who supported the magpies as well and he gave me a pat on the back when the game was over and said something like "younglings".
haha. and like after that we went crown and the salesguy asked me who won. so i told him the score and he was like "you cant be serious!" and he began asking me how each player fared cos he was a collingwood fan too!
damn cool right!! so nice i felt so proud wearing my collingwood jumper walking along with all the other people dressed the same.
more photos next week when we take on the western bulldogs.

i am uber uber super duper excited. there is no way in the universe you can even remotely fathom how EXCITED i am!!!!becos the sweetest girlfriend in the world, earlier this week, surprised me with two tickets for collingwood vs geelong tomorrow at 1930 at the MCG!! and they were the most expensive of expensive tickets so i'll be very near the field, so near that i can even smell the grass!!! and if i'm lucky, maybe didak or buckley might flick their sweat and it might land on me!and more importantly, its against geelong, one of my most hated teams!!! so if ablett or ling come close to me, i'm going to shout at them! "PISS ON YOU!" heh heh heh. no la i'll probably be too in awe to do such a thing. but still!and for most australian states, the match will be shown live on channel 10!! and there is a huge chance you might see me on tv bcos i'm so near the field. so if you have nothing to do, WATCH FOOTY!! gabriel tan's debut appearance on australian tv!!i am really crazily excited i probably wont sleep a wink tonight!! alright magpies to win by a million and one points to five!! #1 singaporean magpie fan, OUT!

i have been spending the last one hour plus at myheritage.com and it is FREAKING addictive!!! you just pop in the photo and they will show you which famous people you look like! can you imagine that!there was one photo where eric and i, in the same photo, both got "stephen chow" as a result. shumin managed to get zhang ziyi as well as kylie minogue (haha go figure), and best of all chen tat looked like LUCY LIU! mwahahah.azad looked like matt damon and michael owen in one photo, and horrors of all horrors! a picture of ryan and nigel brought the respective results of JAY CHOU and GUY PEARCE! imagine that. ryan ho looks like jay chou, it has been proven! although azad's prom photo resembled barry gibb of the bee gees.and most importantly of all, i have proven i look like CHAD MICHAEL MURRAY!! there were 2 photos which got him as a result, and upon closer inspection, i MUST agree i look like him! hur hur hur. so eat my dirt all you non-believers.haha altho i shall not mention that amongst other people, i also looked liek seann william scott, leslie cheung, mao zedong and hidetoshi nakata.ok that was very fun to relieve stress. back to work. carlton 66-138 collingwood!!hur hur so happy, the biggest rivals werent even remotely close to posing a challenge. even when fevola lucky kick put carlton ahead at halftime there was never a doubt who would be gonna end up with the points!ok to prevent this from ending up being a collingwood shrine, i shall try to write less about the magpies : )cooked dinner with nicole just now, it was pretty nice and we surprised ourselves by finishing everything (chicken, pumpkin soup and caesar salad!). but i shouldnt have put so much onions in the chicken cos we couldnt stop farting. and they were killer farts.gotta really start doing my work soon. i shall attempt to complete 3 essays by this weekend. thanks for still reading everytime even though i update sporadically!! gabriel out!

collingwood 120-79 port adelaide!hur hur well i know the match was on sunday and its almost been two days but i'm still so happy! whenever collingwood win, it seriously puts a huge smile on my face considering man u cant win much lately (unless you consider the silly carling cup!).dan bought a car over the weekend so its not too bad now, can go to all the far out places which have excellent food. first stop, YAMAGATA!! and hopefully i wont need to cab back to burwood anymore! yay!i'm sorry i have not much to update on but life has been really very plain. not boring nor monotonous but there's just nothing significant happening! hrmph hopefully we can play footy tomorrow, always exciting!gabriel out!
