okie dokes i've been back for erm how many days already let's see... a week exactly starting friday!! and i can safely say i've covered most of what i expected to do of a first week back in singapore. i have ate, played soccer, met up with friends, ate and ate more!!! mambo last night was pretty cool, didnt get overly wasted although i was pretty close to throwing up the last part.
today was a chill day, just stayed at home and get visited. kinda like those old people waiting at home to be given oranges come chinese new year day haha. tomorrow is dad's belated birthday dinner so dan and i will be cooking. well he will be doing most of the cooking i'm just doing the salad and my world acclaimed chicken stew heh.
oh yes we did the photoshoot on tuesday and it was pretty hilarious. best part of the day was without doubt when we finished one set and yuwei was changing out and he unbuttoned his shirt all the way and gave a ck underwear model pose which weian thankfully got down on film haha. but overall, it was such a tiring affair plus the weather was scorching. sweaty, sticky and trying to look vaguely decent dont go well together.

okie dokes so the exams have been over for almost 4 days now!!! and for the longest time in my life, i genuinely anticipate the release of my results in less than a month's time with eagerness as opposed to dread. instead of like expecting really horrible greats, i'm actually this time excited to see how well i've done, and even if it is bad, then i'll be really pissed to know why and where i went wrong. compared to previous semesters where i myself knew i didn't do enough.
ok jin came over to melbourne since saturday, we had a couple of drinks at the bar last night. also went jamming with clement, imran and adrian at a studio which was pretty fun! dan is as we speak taking his last paper, and kevin finishes tomorrow and then the whole house will be HAVOC!!! heh heh.
ok i have nothing much to say and that's probably because it's holiday time again and i almost have nothing to spend my time on. oh yeah, there was a shooting in melbourne cbd today in broad daylight so that's a lil freaking scary. so i should probably walk around with a bulletproof vest, and to those who laughed at me when i went out one night with a parang in my pocket, who's laughing how huh!!
heh okie dokes, kill time by going crown tonight with my man adriel probably. later folks!

okay so in less than 24 hours will be that time of the semester again. all the hard work (or lack of) will be finally put to the test. first paper on tuesday is AIR205-the rise of china, wednesday HPS307-personality, and finally on thursday AIR342-theories of international relations. heh heh as you can tell, i am a very boring person.
worst thing though is taking two units with the same studying of different theories of that specific discipline. meaning on one hand i have to remember the differences and comparative advantages/disadvantages between realism/liberalism/marxism and on the other hand, i have to do the same for behavioral/dispositional/psychoanalytical approaches. so hopefully during my psych paper i dont mistakenly start writing about freudian theory. heh heh why am i even talking about all this nerdy me.
tomorrow will be spent watching melbourne-collingwood although from at home because of the proximity to exams. hopefully that will follow with substantial studying which will be sufficient for tuesday's paper.
anyway, tip for all melburnians craving good home food. lazzat along lygon is top-class, so far i've tried mee soto, roti john, nasi ayam, black pepper crab and all have satiated my cravings. plus the other day i ordered mutton chop and it freaking came out the exact same one as in singapore in that thick red gravy with fries and a fried egg. 9/10 in my books!! remember, be brave enough and say NO to nasi lemak house and that bitch who is a feeble excuse for a human being.
ok its already 6am here guess i'll run off and hopefully add a bit more knowledge into the big noodle. toodles!!

amidst the neverending late nights mugging and the incessant consumption of red bull and other less-healthy product, it is with intrigue that i approach this semester's exams starting next tuesday, in contrast to previous semesters where the emotions were more of anxiety and desperation. so all in all, this semester is coming to an end and having put in a fair amount of effort, i hope to duly reap the rewards that i think i deserve.
on a less snooze-inducing note, prepare for concerts galore!! omg first i read in the newspapers that sum41 and YELLOWCARD would be performing a joint-concert in august, which accounting for the fact that i enjoyed yellowcard so much last year, plus i like the new songs which i have heard so far, should be a definite unmissable. then i got an email from ticketmaster about the fallout boy concert which nicole had already mentioned, but i just clicked on the info for fun, and lo and behold, the opening acts are gyroscope and wait for it.... JACK'S MANNEQUIN!!! so what was originally a 'can miss' concert has now effectively become a "die-die-must-go!" sheesh so the next few days will be spent, whilst i am not mugging of course, on whether or not to watch. plus i missed The Used when they came so that was already a missed opportunity and the chances of these bands hitting singapore are like 0.3%???
so tomorrow promises to be a fruitful day, kickabout at carlton gardens again should be followed by a decent dinner, watching abit of footie on tv and then more mugging. no complaints really, gabriel out.

okok i know i have been MIA once again but my laptop is still dead and every chance i get to use nicole's or dan's laptop i spend doing essays. but now all my essays are finally done and submitted, i can find the time to update a little. hopefully in the upcoming weeks i will drop by and update as i take breaks from studying for exams, which incidentally are on the 12th-14th.
so to answer a few questions, how is ACS part of my heritage? i have no exact idea actually except that i felt more comfortable there than i was in catholic high primary and since it was the latter part of education it naturally has more meaning. i'm sure if you asked owen the same question he would feel more AC too! :P i hope that answered it decently.
and also who on earth is xiao an!! haha could someone give me a link so i can see his face?? that is so intriguing thanks if anyone tags me the link.
ohwells, i cant think of much to update on cause seriously my life recently has just been churning out essays, and relaxing, and then studying and it goes on and on. not much to say, ooh manu's transfer business is quite exciting, collingwood are doing well, and i though spiderman3 was very very good.
